I just tried to log on to the new site yesterday and I had the same issues as Thellios. I'm not terribly computer-savvy, and I was only half paying attention when I attempted it, but perhaps I could give it another shot today.

I don't have any major issues with the current site, but neither do I have any major issues with moving (so long as I can make the transition successfully).

I'll try the other site again, and let you know what happens...

If you were trying to register through the forum, registration is disabled there. All registration has to go through the front page. I haven't been having any problem with it hanging in Fire Fox. That's strange.

Well I re-registered with a different emial address using the front page and that seems to have worked so far; I am logged in.

For right now I've disabled the confirmation. I doubt anyone but the members of this forum know the thing exists so hopefully I shouldn't have to worry about spam, yet.
